Hurricane Hank blew through Newark again. Friday night with The Witch Doctors at the East End Cafe flat out rocked! Saturday at The Blue Crab with Mike Fisher and Dan Toomey was very interesting. It felt like the old days at The Main Point up in Bryn Mawr (for you Philly people who might remember). Several people said that Hurricane might have a decent shot at a career on guitar. At some point in the not too distant future, expect Mike to release another record, and I would expect Hank to be involved when it happens.
No gigs this week. It's crunch time at school, but he'll be suiting up again next week. Thursday, May 19th at a staff appreciation concert with Garry at Del Technical College. Then on Saturday, May 21, Hank invades the Blue Crab yet again. This time, it's with The Witch Doctors. The Crab will be rockin!
